Towheads from Nigg to Wick 7th August 2008 Henry Abram & Sons Ltd. were contracted to transport two towheads, and their associated roof panels, from Nigg (UK) to Wick (UK). The Towheads weighed 52 Te and 48 Te and the roof panels ranged from 5 Te to 7 Te. HASL chartered a coaster vessel for this shipment and attended the loading and supervised the securing. HASL were also responsible for supervising the discharge and subsequent road move to Subsea 7s Wester Site.
Reel from Aberdeen to Moss 5th August 2008 In early August Henry Abram & Sons Ltd were contracted to transport a 139 Te reel from Aberdeen to Moss, Norway. Henry Abram & Sons Ltd were responsible for fixing a suitable ship and preparing the necessary stowage plan. Deck strength checks and securing arrangements were completed to the warranty surveyors satisfaction and Henry Abram & Sons Ltd provided marine superintendency at both the port of loading and discharge.
Skids from Burntisland/Methil to Dundee 3rd August 2008 In early September Henry Abram & Sons Ltd were contracted to transport a series of skids from Burntisland and Methil to Dundee. Henry Abram & Sons Ltd were responsible for fixing a suitable ship, preparing the necessary stowage, sea-fastenings and securing arrangements and cover all marine superintendency responsibilities at port of loading and discharge. Over the course of three shipments all 8 risers were transported safely to their discharge port.
